Digital Photomontage Art Galleries

Among the range of personalised photo items available is the stunningly good looking photo blanket. Whether you opt for the small cot blanket size or the much larger blanket you can enjoy superb photo reproduction and colour sharpness as well as a blanket that is safe, warm, and incredibly cozy. As standard you get to choose the picture that is printed on one side and the colour of the reverse, although you can also opt for a second image on the reverse or the use of a beautiful photo montage of your best shots.
Personalised With Your Choice Of Photo
The greatest feature of the photo blanket is that it is personalised with a picture of your choice. While most people do choose to use a photograph or a family member or of themselves, this is only one possible use of the photo blanket. You can use any picture or image, it doesn't even need to be a photograph. Why not use your own artwork and show it off by having it printed onto a unique canvas - a personalised photo blanket.
Stuck For Ideas? Why Not Use A Photo Montage?
Sometimes, choosing a single picture can prove to be a surprisingly difficult choice. Rather than not being able to find a single photo to use, it is much more likely that you will end up with a broad selection of pictures, completely unsure of which one is best to use. With a photo blanket there is no reason to force a decision; you can instead have a photo montage created from your short list and printed on to the blanket of your choice.
A great Range Of Options
As well as choosing the image to print on the front of the photo blanket you can also choose a colour for the reverse. Alternatively, you can choose to have a second image printed on the back or you may decide that a photo montage is more what you are looking for. You can also choose between small, medium, and large blankets so that you can enjoy exactly the look and design of photo blanket that you want.
Perfect As Anniversary Gifts
One great use of the photo blanket is as an anniversary present. Have a photo montage created from the recipient's best and most loved wedding photographs and then have this printed onto a photo blanket. You could have a medium blanket printed to use as a lap blanket or a large one to be used on the bed. The combination of a comfy blanket and the use of memorable wedding photos makes the photo montage blanket a superb anniversary gift.
Other Personalised Home Décor Items
As well as photo blankets you can also have your pictures printed onto photo cushions or photo cubes and if soft furnishings aren't enough to quench your desire for personalised photo items then you can move on to home décor. Roller blinds, folding screens, and even customised wallpaper can all be personalised to include one or more photographs or pictures of your choice. Perfect to keep for yourself or give as a gift to mark any event.
Bags of Love has a superb range of photo gifts that make excellent anniversary gifts. The photo blanket is one such item and is made from high quality materials in the UK to ensure that you get the best results possible.

Dada and Photomontage Across Borders $25.95 This special issue of New German Critique explores the art of Dada and photomontage in transnational contexts. Dadaism, an art movement cultivated during World War I, questioned traditional aesthetics and eventually led to the formation of surrealism. Focusing on Dada's achievements in building a network of artists in Europe and America, this issue examines photomontage as an integral part of the movement, as well as its relationship to mass media, photography, propaganda, constructivism, and left-wing politics in the Soviet Union and western Europe during the 1920s and 1930s.pThe central figure of the issue is John Heartfield, a Dadaist who influenced much of the art world in Europe after World War I. The collection investigates Heartfield's lesser-known early work with cinema in the service of the German High Command. Believing that photographic cinema was akin to war propaganda, Heartfield rejected live-action war footage in favor of American cinematic animation to promote an honest discussion about the horror and realities of war. One essay explores Heartfield's photomontages while turning to film theory as a way of interpreting the politics of his work, demonstrating how his photomontages retain the organic and traditional nature of photography even as they produce cognitive dissonance and satire. Another essay on Heartfield's role in Soviet discussions of the 1930s offers fascinating insights based on new archival research. The issue also looks at the relationship between Heartfield and the illustrated German magazine Arbeiter-Illustrierte-Zeitung and how that magazine influenced photomontage across Europe.br |

Photomontage (World of Art) $4.01 Manipulation of the photograph is as old as photography itself. Fox Talbot's photogenic drawing', one of the earliest photographic processes, developed during the 1830s, involved the direct contact printing of leaves, ferns, flowers, drawings, and was rediscovered and put to use with an almost infinite repertoire of objects by Man Ray, Christian Schad and Moholy-Nagy in their 'photograms' of the 1920s. |
