Fantasy Art T-shirts
The origins of abstract art can rightly be attributed to the imagination of man. Abstract art is distinct from the art fantasy, which imaginary characters and myths about it. It is realistic because it reflects reality in figurative terms. In other words, abstract art depicts real forms in a simplified or rather reduced way, keeping the subject of the same origin.
Abstract art does not come all of a sudden it is not the result of the thinkers of the 20th century. In the Jewish and Muslim representation of human beings was prohibited. As such, they resort to all forms of decorative arts and non-figurative or calligraphy.
Wassily Kandinsky is considered the inventor of non-figurative art in the 20th century. Gradually, his paintings left figurative subjects. In 1910, he created the first work of figurative art, a watercolor without reference to reality. Kandinsky is not only become first abstract artist, he also took care to promote as a theorist. After Kandinsky, it was the Russian painter, Kasimir Malewich who took abstract art to the next level. Melewich paintings are mostly based on simple geometric forms.
The events in the middle of the twentieth century changed the course of abstract art. The Second World War, the persecution of Jewish people by Hitler and the denunciation of art Modern by the Nazis, led to the immigration of hundreds of avant-garde European artists to the United States of America, and especially New York. This has created a new wave in the scenario of American art prompting the birth of abstract expressionism.
Expressionism is an abstract concept performing arts in style. This movement highlights the tendency to raise the limits classic beyond all limits. Some of the greatest artists of this movement were Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning and Mark Rothko.
Currently, there are two primary segments of abstract art. A segment, known as called Color Field Abstract Art, features blocks of color. Mark Rothko is one of the pioneers of this genre. The second segment includes several genera-surrealism Expressionism, cubism, and action painting. Regardless of all these influences, the core tables abstract art is capturing the essence of the unconscious of the artist on the canvas.
