Cases of "real" vampires (Highgate, Kirklees, etc.)?
Hi there. Been doing some reading on cases of what called 'Vampires' real (such as in Highgate, Kirklees, etc..) Observed seem to be fairly rare, however. Someone knows he documented cases of "real" vampires circa 1700 + (I want to stress, when I say real vampire, I mean real animated corpses ... not human beings who drink blood.) Thank you!
No, just stories. There have been some cases of "dead animation" that proved have been persons who are presumed dead, but it has actually been in a coma or any other disease close to death, then wake up later. These cases also led to a rash of devices and methods to ensure that we have not been buried or interred while still actually alive, including alarms within the crypts and coffins to warn anyone if the "death" displaced person.
