John Carpenter’s Vampires
I started making a list of the best Sci-fi movies and to my surprise my list was concentrated in a 16. My criterion is simple, the film has been memorable and I turned on the TV and this film was playing, what I watch. I dislike the films classification, I leave it to you. These films are ranked in order of their original bet.
The Terminator (1984)
The film has created a franchise, the best of the Terminator trilogy. A new take on the day of the trial judge where the machines mankind, and find the man wanting nature. Sarah Conner fights for future against an almost invincible opponent with the help of his father's unborn son, sent from the future, his future son, to save her (wow). Incredible plot, thank you great action director James Cameron for this fabulous film.
Starman (1984)
It's nice to know that not all Foreigners are not out to enslave us or kill us. Jeff Bridges is an amazing achievement for a foreigner who takes the form of a widow (Karen Allen) Husband DNA reading a few strands of hair saved. The alien learns about humans as they Hean at a rendezvous exotic while pursued by the federal government. On the way, Starman helps us learn about ourselves and even performs a few miracles. Surprisingly enough this film was directed by John Carpenter master director of horror films.
The Last Starfighter (1984)
The premise of film, an alien alliance in their search for Starfighter pilots to defend the universe, the design of a video game that simulates battles in space so the game can be used to select potential pilots. This is an amusing film with a dose of humor and not intended to be taken seriously, but it is very entertaining.
Enemy Mine (1985)
Strand A man and a foreign fighter on the same planet and throw in a lot of adversity and what are not. Probably not what you expect, plus the final scene is basically a tear Jerker. You never recognize Lou Gossett Jr. in it.
Star Trek The Voyage Home (1986)
The best movies of Star Trek has been directed by Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy). The fearless leaders of the company must go back in time to retrieve a humpback whale to save Earth in the future. There are a lot of fun having to watch agents now are trying to move things done on earth today.
Aliens (1986)
I loved the first film "Alien", but foreigners was certainly the best of the Alien franchise. I loved the characters in this film. I loved the Ripley, Sergeant, Lieutenant, the representative of the society of evil synthetic human and all other navies. Combine the great characters with a great plot, cinematography and great big special effects and get a fantastic film.
Predator (1987)
When you send a badass special forces team and you lose contact with them what you doing? You send the ex-special forces badass mercenaries to know what happened to your team missing. The team was sent to hunt becomes the prey and are no match for foreign technology, but the Force is with one of them.
Total Recall (1990)
Arnold Schwarzeneggar stars as a man who wants to visit Mars, but the only way that can happen is to mobilize a memory bogus holiday implanted in his mind by a company called Recall. Once the implant has the fun begins, full of action and intrigue equals lots of entertainment.
Star Ship Troopers (1997)
This movie flew under the radar way when he first released. Loosely based on the novel by Robert Heinlein, Paul Verhoeven, director portrays a militaristic government land where veterans only have the right to vote, and their fight against the planet bug that bombard the Earth with asteroids. This video is not recommended for children as methods of combat used by insects can be quite gruesome. Home of the toughest drill sergeant you've ever seen.
The Matrix (1999)
The best of the Matrix trilogy is the first film. This wind movie you away the first time you see the original because there are so things in, you never knew what would happen next.
