American artist Cindy Sherman was born in 1954 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, USA. Contrary to classical artists who dip into many works of art before claiming to international fame, Sherman used a technique very unusual. She has served as a model and should itself in a manner who sent a strong message about the role of women in society. The editor of the magazine, Ingrid Sischy, dismissed the photos, for fear of being misunderstood.

Cindy Sherman work extends to the film world as well. His directorial debut was in the film "Office Killer,''with Jeanne Tripplehorn. In 1998, the comedy of John Waters' "Pecker," Cindy plays a cameo role. Recently, Sherman had an exhibition of his art to the Gallery New York, Metro Pictures. Here it showed different pictures of herself in the role of women in California.
