Watch Vampire Diaries Series
Flip on any TV or go to any bookstore and there are in fact vampire films have a variety to choose from. So where do you start?
Obviously the Twilight series is extremely popular. In fact, the most popular teen vampire series which is being bought now. The films are based on the four books in this series and the premise is safe to reach young hearts pumping. True love, danger, vampires, werewolves, fights and more. And the film's heart throb Robert Pattinson girls around the world screaming for more.
For a more adult look at the fascination of vampire looks at the TV series Tru Blood. Again, no drama, this time against the vampires is a religious cult. Sookie, the main character is human, but has the ability to read minds. The blood suckers in this series are from the south and come from all levels of society. No, they are filthy rich and perfect. Oh, and they have to deal with human beings who try to drain it dry for the drug as meaning that their blood is upon them. This is much darker and has adult situations that do not really found with Twilight.
And then if you want more teen drama vamp can start watching the new TV series called The Vampire Diaries. Yes, Hollywood and conventional TV are exploiting this niche new and creative ways.
Of course it could go to the old standbys that still thrill as Bram Stoker's Dracula, or by Anne Rice, Interview with a Vampire and Queen of the Damned. No fan of such horror movies you should see the two, at least.
But if you like real blood and blood of these films that truly can be classified as horror films after films like From Dusk til Dawn, Blade or Underworld. From Dusk Til Dawn is one of the bloodiest that is, by the way that Gore supporters.
And if you like humor Campy horror film, be sure to rent Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Love at First Bite, The Monster Squad or something by Bela Lugosi. All are bound to bring laughs. Belas Lugosi's films are funny, because you see changes in what was considered then and fear that directors and makeup artists have achieved today.
It's really interesting to see the difference in the quality of the acting and special effects. So get some of the oldies but goodies first and then move on to some of the latest movies on vampires. There are so many to choose. If you do a quick Google search found literally hundreds of these kinds of movies to see. Sometimes, the vampires win and sometimes they hunt good. Anyway, I tend to root for the vampires. It's just more fun.
