Feelings about Buffy the Vampire Slayer Movie?
For those of you Whedon fans, how do you feel about a film without Buffy Whedon or cast? D 'On the one hand, opening a new franchise in May rope in some new viewers, but not great Buffy fans deserve not a meeting of the old cast? I mean it would be something like Star Trek, where the cast is too old to be easily kicking butt. But the range of the Scooby Gang twenties, thirties for the most part, and some in their forties. What do you think?
I am strongly against it! This will be a big flop. Joss and the cast worked so hard to make a TV show a hit, they really believe they can attack him to try to steal some of the lime light? I think most Buffy fans will be against it. I'm not saying that the film itself is really bad - I mean, I'm sure that special effects will be much better than the last movie, and it probably a decent ground - but it will ruin the reputation of Buffy!
