Vampire Art
Are you attracted to the darker side of life? You feel like you come alive at night? Do you remember the scenario 'The Hunger'? So you may want to consider a vampire theme for your next tattoo.
Vampires have had a cultural fascination for decades. The suave vampire and charismatic figure that we think today was first created by John Polidori in his 1819 book The Vampyre. Few remember, however, and Bram Stoker's novel Dracula in 1897 is regarded as the vampire novel par excellence.
Although usually "representation of modern vampires evil" as handsome, charismatic, strong and independent makes bad we wanted to be. Surely sucking the blood of people every once in a while would be a small price to pay for eternal youth and power to seduce anyone you choose? And the day is very overrated ...
Unfortunately being "shot" is likely to remain an elusive goal. If only real vampires walk the earth then they are not exactly open about it. And who can blame them? Living forever leads one to be careful ...
Even if becoming a vampire is out of range, some of that power and seduction can still be found by adding a tattoo vampire.
This exactly constitutes a Tattoo Vampire?
Vampire Tattoos can be of many different designs. Obviously there is the traditional Dracula, a distinguished gentleman with Cape held open for you in his embrace, her lips parted to reveal the glow of his fangs ...
Or, a modern invention, it is his female equivalent. Lily-white skin, jet black hair, ruby red lips (red blood could be a more suitable ...), Vaguely thin body draped in black fabric Sheer ... The kind of woman of your dreams, makes you think that death might not be too high a price payable.
Or if you do not want a real vampire, then how about a tattoo over style? Just maybe the fangs, with the slightest hint of Blood glistened on the tip white ...
And of course there is always the bat. Although not part of the novel by Bram Stoker's flight form (Dracula is simply defined as a lizard or bird-like) the vampire bat has been a part of history since the 1927 stage production and films that followed have cemented the relationship in the public eye. Make sure your tattoo bat is clearly a vampire bat, not a Batman tattoo!
As you can see there are many choices for people with an affinity for the night. More and more people choose to be open on the side obscure that we all have. It has nothing to hide, after all, so why not celebrate with a tattoo vampire? Just make sure you spend time imagine designs to ensure you do not regret later that the trip to the dark side.
