Vampire Diaries Series Books
The Princess Diaries is the first volume of the critically acclaimed, the best-selling book series by Meg Cabot. It was published in 2000 by Harper Collins Publishers. The Princess Diaries novels are divided into journal entries of varying lengths, not chapters, as in most novels. The series spent 38 weeks series on The New York Times Children's Best Sellers list and has been sold to publishers in 37 countries.
The Princess Diaries is the diary of Mia Thermopolis, a teenager of fourteen, an average teenager, exploring the themes of teenage anguish, love and betrayal Through the eyes of very opinionated, but his world is thrown upside down when she discovers she is a princess and the next heir to the throne of Genovia. Mia does not adapt easily to these new and struggles to understand his new role in the world as Princess of Genovia.
Mia a character lovable and sometimes very funny, as she prefers to wear combat boots and suits the designer clothes she is expected to Sport and often inappropriate or mortifying things, in the end she learns from its mistakes. She is known for biting his nails, obsessed with his cat "Fat Louie "(which she admits to loving the most in the world, over his mother and friends), worrying about his life in an exaggerated degree, and written in her diary when she can.
The writing style is simple and conversational. It is noted to contain references, which include singers, movies and fads of modern culture. Many critics have taken unkindly to this form of storytelling, but personally I found it a change of other novels and enjoyed the Princess Diaries series. The book was adapted into film with the same name in 2001 and peaked at number three cards box office. But the movie and book are very different and incomparable in the lines of history, so if you liked the movie and you do not read the book so I really think you should.
